A day at Naracoorte... With power!!

The storm past last night and power returned at about 9pm. I was fast asleep, enjoying the sweet smell of scented candles and dreaming about all of the amazing things we have been up to while on our holiday. My tummy was quite full after a few ham and salad sandwiches for tea and a few ciders and I was destined for a long and peaceful sleep.

A 7:30pm bedtime I guess means a 6:30am wake up... Daddy cooked up yummy pancakes for breakfast (thanks Greens for making this an easy cook). After that it was off to the Naracoorte Caves, after a quick stop over at the Naracoorte Visitor Information Centre where a lovely old lady there told us how to get there (and gave us a 10% off voucher).

We saw impressive megafauna and some amazing speleothems (use this term for stalactites and stalagmites when you visit the caves and impress your guide... Our guide Tom gave us this term to use)... The caves were about 800,000 years old, some very impressive natural formations.

Finally I tried to give Heidi some peace and quiet this afternoon as I took the kids mini golfing. Only Miss 9 and I made it through all 18 holes. Many were very challenging, a great course...

Our final night in Naracoorte before we head home again tomorrow (via Keith of course and that crazy roller coaster death trap). Yummy steak for tea BBQed to perfection of course.

Signing off,

Trippin Timmy and the Law clan...
