Today has been a great way to say fare ye well to Ballarat as we headed out of town in search of the very famous Kryal Castle. We were the first car in the car park, the first family across the drawbridge, past the portcullis and the first family to come face to face with the dragon.
Aside from our first stop, the dragon display which scared the heck out of all of us and missing out on seeing the magician perform we all had an utterly amazing day.
The knightly display of skills in the morning and the joust in the afternoon were real highlights, but so too was the indoor archery, the purfume making with the resident enchantress and both pantomimes put on by the three hilarious performers.
All in all there was plenty to do to fill a day at Kryal and it put the whole Law family in a great mood as we ventured further south away from the majesty of Kryal and Ballarat and down the Monash to our next stop, Beaconsfield. We've already been spoilt with an amazing tea (compliments to the chef BB and Roh... Those lamb steaks and that potato salad was something else). Looking forward to what else this holiday had in store for us...
