I am so lucky that I get to play a role playing game (Dungeons and Dragons) at work. It is a youth activity we run fortnightly at the library to try and engage the community's youth and for a small section of this dynamic this seems to be working.
Today was a great session. The group explored a part of the city they are staying in called The Silver Spider. It is a classy establishment of entertainments of any and all kinds, the hang out of choice for the rich and famous of the fantasy city setting.
The kids that attended today's session had great fun trying all the fun and pleasures that The Silver Spider has to offer. It was really rewarding to have these new players interacting with the patrons and the props even though they were not physically there.
My brother-in-law Ben has done well to create such a vivid adventure and I'm having so much fun playing it...
