I just wanted to say a special thank you to that amazing group of volunteers in the orange jumpsuits with that platypus as a mascot, the amazing SES. We don't really think about these wonderful people until we have a car accident or our roof is blown off or we have fallen in a ditch, these are the people who are always in the thick of the rescue when things have gone wrong.
With the rain pouring down yesterday and my thoughts turning to arc plans it was the fantastic SES who were out in the wet helping to patch roof leaks, dragging cars out of rivers and being the unsung heroes of each and every rain/flood effected community.
Well done to the lasses and lads of this orange army of talented helpers! We would be truly lost without you all!!
